Built with comfort and good sense in mind, the Cube Town Hybrid e-bike has a range of features that will keep the mud and road dirt at bay, while still getting you where you need to be in style and comfort.

A completely enclosed chain guard will keep the oil and dirt from spitting over you, while the full mudguards should ensure you don’t get a black stripe over your back! An AXA Compactline 20 front light and a Trelock rear light are wired into the main battery so you will always see & be seen in all conditions as long as there’s enough juice in the main power unit. Internally routed cabling adds to the clean looks too.

A seven-speed Shimano hub gear system is a reliable and almost maintenance-free drivetrain that will flatten out the hills, while hydraulic Vee-brakes keep you in control in all conditions.

For smoothing out the bumps and potholes on the road, 50mm travel, SR Suntour NEX-25 forks are ample and supported with 28-inch wheels with Schwalbe Road Cruiser tyres for gripping the terrain from tarmac to cycle path.

The 400 Watt-hour battery sits just under your seat on the rear part of the frame, keeping the balance of the bike. It gives ample range for a day’s riding – you will easily see 40 miles on the road.

All of this is supported with the quiet yet powerful Bosch Active Line Plus 250 watt motor that is designed for road riding. Quiet yet with 50 Newton-metres of torque, you’ll pull away quickly and in almost silence as you go into the urban jungle. When you top the speed-limited 25km/h you won’t find much resistance as you move along under your own power.
